DRL 04+ All Models - DISABLED!!!!

Morph and I with the help of some guys in the US figured out how to disable DRLs on all 04-05 Canadian and 06+ North American Lancers, Outlanders, etc.

No side effects. Warranty safe as long as pin is cut and not bent.

Old (I don't recommend this method anymore):
Step 1.
Remove your red top front ECU from the box on the right side of you engine bay. You'll need open it up and remove the top to get to it's guts. The white plugs on the black metal heatsink can be popped of carefully with a screwdriver. Unplug the module from the base of the ECU interior. Then you'll need to remove the red outer casing carefully with a small screwdriver or your tool of choice.

Step 2.
You should have something like this now.

Next you'll want to slide white wire out of the connector on the module and attach a new length of wire to it. Refer to step 3 for details.

Step 3.
Solder the new wire to the pin shown here:

For those of you with wiring diagrams thats pin 25 on connector A-11X. Refer to section 90 pg.100 of your service manual. Pin 25 is attached to the low beam switich in your steering column.

Step 4.
Test it in your car as shown:

Make sure you headlights are set to the "Off" position.
- Start the car. Lights should be off.
- Turn to "Parking" position. Headlights should stay off but white marker lights will come on.
- Turn to "On" position. Low Beams should come on. If not then shut off the car and check your connections.

Step 5.
Do a little dance and send psy and morph money
