2010 Waverley TSD Rally Series

Here are the details for the first Winnipeg Sports Car Club TSD (Time-Speed-Distance) Rally of the year:

Saturday, January 23rd (meet at 1pm)
Waverley Mitsubishi
1717 Waverley Street

The cost is $10 per 2-person car/team. Be sure to bring your own clip board, pen, watch and a map. If you have a cell phone, bring it along as well.

For anyone who has not done one of these before, each car will be sent-off a minute apart or so and you will follow written directions while completing some fill-in-the-blank questions along the way. The rally will take a little over an hour and will end at a restaurant, at which point, everyone has an opportunity to hang-out and order drinks/food if desired while the winners are determined. In order to win, a team must correctly answer as many questions as possible and essentially follow the various speed limits with precision. If you are too early or too late to a specific point in the route, the difference results in a penalty. So, those with the greatest number of correct answers and least number of penalties, wins.

Jan and I will be attending and are hoping some Mitsunation members will join-in on the fun. Although advance sign-up is not required, add your name to the following list if you *might* make it, and, if you don't show, its no big deal:
